The Original Coquitlam Keg was destroyed October 28, 2006 in a very serious fire on a night where a suspected serial arsonist set 4 major fires in the area.
Flash forward to late October 2009 and the highly anticipated NEW Coquitlam Keg will be opening in a new location with a beautiful new Westcoast Contemporary building.
Located beside Best Buy & Save On Foods by Coquitlam Centre Mall, the new Restaurant is sure to be a popular attraction this Winter.
Workers are busily putting the finishing touches on this structure and it won't be long before we will be able to say "Let the Good Time Roll" again at the Keg Steakhouse.

i love the keg - i worked at 3 of them while going to uni - one in north van - in burnaby by the canada games centre - and the one in new west by the river - loved it!
I have always had a soft spot for the Keg, we had one 2 blocks from where I grew up in Maple Ridge. Consequently all the special event, going out for dinners, were there. Good times.
Great info on the old Keg. I always wondered why there was no Keg out here.
